As a homeowner enjoys a poolside setting, he or she wants to look upon an area of sparkling clear water. In order to witness a realization of that wish, smart homeowners invest in swimming pool chemicals to achieve this goal. Sometimes efforts directed at a pool’s maintenance incorporate use of Bioguard’s chorine and bromine sanitizers. Each of these two products prevents growth of bacteria, viruses, cysts and protozoa. At the same time, they can reduce the level of the chloramines in the water. That reduction leads to a diminishing of the distinctive chlorine smell.
Placement of a sanitizer in a pool’s water enhances the ability of dissolved chorine to attack any and all bacteria and waste products. An item called “Shock” or “Burn Out Extreme” facilitates the killing of increased amounts of bacteria.

Bioguard allows pool owners to adopt one of several different systems. If they choose to use a 3-Step System, then they depend on the effectiveness of something that has lithium hypochlorite in 29% of its contents. If they elect to use the Softswim System, then they put their trust in a non-chlorine alternative.
That alternative contains three different elements. The first is an algaecide, one that has the ability to penetrate cracks. The second is a bacteria controlling substance, and the third is something that enhances the ability of hydrogen peroxide to rid the pool’s water of any sort of cloudiness.
That mix of chemicals insures possession by each chemical substance of its unique qualities. Those are the qualities that allow that substance to become one of the ingredients in a terrific pool-cleaning product.
